Our Guesthouse was established in 1993. This makes it one of the first B&B's in Kokstad (It had been used as a Boarding House in the 40's! And then as a family home).

Your hosts Wendy and Leon Sander bought the Guesthouse in 1998. For the last 10 years they have both been hard at work renovating and restoring the home.

The Planes Guesthouse is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood - a few blocks from the center of town.

The house is surrounded by beautiful shady gardens. The tranquil setting will relax and revitalize you. The house is named after the two enormous Plane trees in the garden.

We pride ourselves in offering all guests country hospitality. Wendy who does all her own cooking provides delicious meals. We have 10 comfortable, well-appointed rooms (2 of which have kitchenettes).
